He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred E. Carlson and Eleanor M. Carlson (Kolley); and his sister Nancy Mehes. He is survived by: his wife Joyce M. Carlson (Michalski); his children, Shelley Dolgae (Jim) of Mecca, Kathie Bates Blackman (Doug) of Madison and Bryan Carlson (Lynn) of Cortland; and his grandchildren, Julie Carlson, Marykathryn Rusnak (Mike), Danny Marshall (Sasha), Robert Marshall (Mary Kate), Leigha and Caleb Carlson. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
