He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Helmuth and Katie Helmuth (Coblentz); his wife Shirley Ann Helmuth; his daughter-in-law Rhonda Helmuth; his granddaughter Jacqueline Shoemaker; and his brothers, Albert, Ray and William.
He is survived by: his children, Ed Helmuth, Kim Freiberg, Bill Helmuth, Dan Helmuth (Kathy) and Christina Lynch (Jason); his grandchildren, Jessica Scott (Brandon), Andrea Molinatto, Blaine Helmuth (Nicole), Maressa White (Zach), Jeremy Continenza (Lydia), William Helmuth (Corinne), Jennifer Lynn, Misty Sponseller (Jarrod), Cody Helmuth (Maggie), Tristian Lynch, Gavin Lynch and Alexa Lynch; and his siblings, Edna Swyers, Fanny Blair, Emma Shoemaker, Esther Kellet, Dolly Hake, Kathy Fularz (Ron), Marie Scott (Larry) and Fred Helmuth (Karon). He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Abundant Life Ministry Center (13724 Carlton St, Burton, OH 44021). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
