She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Black and Katie Luikart Black; and her husband Charles H. Spitler. She is survived by: her children, Barb Roth (Ed) of North Bloomfield, Bonnie Utsinger of Folkston, Corlene Ziegler of Destin, Fla., Sheila Persino (Gary) of Cortland, William Spitler (Dianne) of North Bloomfield, Kenneth Spitler (Lois Dooley) of Conneaut and Robert Spitler (Karen) of Bristolville; her daughter-in-law Connie Spitler of Bristolville; her children, Charlotte Dye, Suzanne Cordwell, Roberta Hall, Charles Jr. and James "Buzz" Spitler; her grandsons, Christopher Roth, James Spitler and Russell Dye; and her siblings, Rosa Taylor, Mary Kerr, Helen Reichel, Robert, Roy, Harry, Frank Jr. and Clarence Black. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Greene Church of the Nazarene or the Bristolville United Methodist Church.
