He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Moertle and Carl Moertle Sr.; his wife Carol Moertle; his children, Mary Skaats (Richard), Robert Moertle (Kelly), Susan Moertle (late Dorian Ladue), James Moertle (Amy), Amy Wyatt and Laura Clark (Joe); his grandchildren, Katie Jabeck (Brian), Nick Skaats (Heather), Benjamin Moertle, Kiersten Schatzel (Andy), Jason Moertle, Paige McNamara (Tom), Jennifer Moertle, Emily Moertle, Courtney Clark, Steven Wyatt and Abigail Brown; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Frommeyer, Logan, Brooks Jabeck, Kaelynn, Aneleigh Meyer, Austin, Luke, Alyssa, Christian Skaats, Paxton, Knox, Kennedy, Jax Schatzel, Hayden, Killian Moertle, Lucas, Mallory Davis, Rory, Jack McNamara, Isabella and Leia Wyatt. He was also cherished by his neighbors, friends.
