She is survived by: her husband Douglas F. Sterling; her children, Scott Sterling (Michelle) of Monclova, Lisa Frost (Greg) of North Baltimore and Molly Troendle (Mike) of Whitehouse; her grandchildren, Jessica Hudson (Elliott), Andrew Sterling (Anne), Olivia Ebright (Clinton), Garrett, Maya, Collin, Lauren and Joshua Rolf (Paloma); her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Colton, Lauren and Ebright; her siblings, James Gerdeman of North Baltimore, Joseph Gerdeman (Lois) of North Baltimore and Mary Stewart (Ronald) of North Baltimore; and her sister-in-law Nancy Gerdeman of North Baltimore.
Memorial contributions may be directed towards the American Cancer Society, the Armes Family Cancer Care Center, or to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
