He was predeceased by: his parents, James Allen and Treva Agnes Dean (Zerbe); his wife Betty Lou; his in-laws, Clarence and Lois Huber; his sister Louise Roth (Leonard); and his great grandchild Paige Lineay Jacobs.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Cassadie; his grandchildren, Hocking Hills and Myrtle Beach; his children, Jaimye Bushey (David) and Jeffrey Dean (Jill); his grandchildren, Amanda Jacobs (Dan), Jason Bushey (Diana), Parker Bushey (Adrianna Downs), Joshua Dean (Leigh), Jenalee Jacobsen (David) and Jordan Dean (Mia); and his great grandchildren, Jameson Jacobs (Jessica), Lily, Allie Bushey, Leona, Linus Jacobsen and Daisy James Dean.
