With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty McCartney of North Baltimore, Ohio, born in Bowling Green, Ohio, who passed away on April 20, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Seibert and Margaret Seibert (Beaubain); her former husbands, James Kaufman and Kenneth Bretz; her husband Charles Lee McCartney; her children, Gary Kaufman, Cheryl Grose and Nancy Ebright; her stepsons, Jim Bretz and Dave Bretz; her siblings, Tommy, Richard, Donald, Phillip Seibert and Linda McGuire; her grandson Brad Palmer (late Trisha); and her sons-in-law, Rennie Palmer and Michael Grose.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Bretz (Karen) of North Baltimore, Becky Palmer of Bowling Green and Denise Gilles (William) of Ashland, WI; her siblings, John Seibert (Phyllis), Dave Seibert of West Millgrove, Dale Seibert, Barb Swope of Jerry City, Mary Yates of Dayton, Julia Matzinger, Thelma Bankey and Theresa Preston (Paul) of Jerry City; her stepson Michael Bretz of North Baltimore; and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Seibert, Jean Reza of Findlay and Lewis McGuire of Jerry City. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
