She was predeceased by: her parents, Morlan Lee and Effie Lee (Johnson); her son Doug Markowitz; her grandson Steven; and her daughter-in-law Mary Ellen Markowitz.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Markowitz (Janice) of St. Pete, Nancy Dooley (Tim) of Berwick, Ron Markowitz Sr. (Dee) of Niles and Paul Markowitz (Kirk Paskal) of Miami Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, Billy Markowitz (Jenna), Ami Lake (Mark), Kristen Kenney (Jon), R. J. Markowitz (Carlye), Jessica Markowitz, Breeanna Markowitz and Steffanlee Markowitz; her great grandchildren, Gabbie, Lexie, Cameron, Carter and Aiden; and her sister Jean Dyer of Spearfish.
