He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Carpenter and Georgia Carpenter (Cline); his son Jeffrey Carpenter; and his brother Jimmy Carpenter. He is survived by: his sister Donna Jean Mayer (Donald) of Cortland; his stepsister Kathy Gadd (Don) of Niles; his stepmother Bertha Crank Carpenter of Niles; his close friends, Martin Feidler Jr. and Linda Perkins of Champion; his uncle Thomas; and his aunt Sandy Cline of Mineral Ridge.
