He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dunnigan and Helen Hubauer Dunnigan; and his brothers, Daniel and Thomas Dunnigan. He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Nyre Dunnigan; his children, Aprile Corso (John), Nancy DeChristefero, Mary Jo Dunnigan-Livi, Sally Border (William) and Duke Dunnigan Jr. (Tammy Sharfal); his grandchildren, JoAnna Feiner (Steven), Abbey Chieffo (Chris), Alyson DeChristefero (Dennis Brown), Michael Livi (Brenna), Joseph Livi (Megan Putnam) and Kelly Christopher (Jared); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Katherine Feiner, Vincent, Dominic Chieffo, Callie DeChristefero, Ellie, Laila Livi and Nolan Christopher; and his friend Kay Kay Clay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Dick's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
