He was predeceased by: his parents, Panayoti Goranitis and Gianoula Goranitis (Parthamos); his siblings, George (Darlene), Louie (Lola), Gregory Goranitis, Pota Giannoulis (Manoli) and Thora Koutles (Thortharo); and his brother-in-law John Lazari.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Goranitis (Shelar) of Niles; his sons, Pete Goranitis (Amy) of Hartville, OH and Nick Goranitis (Marissa) of Cranberry Twp, PA; his grandson Nico Goranitis; and his sister Eleni Lazari of Athens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Nick's name to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 429 High Street NE Warren, OH 44481.
