He is survived by: his wife Carol Loraine Miller; his children, Linda Lee Barnhart of Niles, Loraine Marie Sweet-Harris of Louisville, Kyleigh Clay of Niles and Richard Allen Sweet Jr. of Tallmadge; his grandchildren, Derek Barnhart, Jamie Augustine Ray, Tricia Harris, Mariah Asimus, Tiffany Clay, Tabbitha Thacker, Joseph A. Clay Jr., Brianna Sweet-Lawn, Dakota, Madison and Keegan Sweet; and his siblings, Lula Foster, Liza Jane Clay, Marie Ramunno and Cecil Clay of Niles. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
