He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ann Cappello (March). He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Cappello Jr. (Shonna) of Ashtabula and Anthony Cappello of Youngstown; his stepchildren, Laura, Matt and Greg; and his close friend Nosmo.
