He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tony and Mary A. Belcastro (Franco); his children, Timothy Belcastro of St. Petersburg, Anthony Belcastro (Karen) of Pittsburgh, Joseph Belcastro Jr. of Defiance, Mary Michelle Sanctis (Edmond) of Issaquah and Carla Ann Belcastro of Sagamore Hills; his siblings, Nicholas Belcastro (Linda) of Niles and Carmie Steadman (Earl) of Fort Myers, Florida.; his grandchildren, Amanda, Curtis, Gabrielle, Andrew, Sam, Wil, Ben, Dean and Julian; and his daughter-in-law Anne Belcastro.
