He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dee Amburgey and Helen Kurchmar; his son Michael Amburgey; and his sisters, Linda Murray and Marilyn Deal.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Amburgey (Alexandria), James Amburgey (Danielle), Sheri Amburgey (Michael Rhodes) and Marquis Gantz (Amburgey) (Boyce); his siblings, Robert Amburgey, Diane Noble (Amburgey) and Brenda Amburgey (Bre); his grandchildren, John Michael Amburgey, Brandon Amburgey, Auriella Amburgey, Michael Rhodes, Matthew Rhodes, Marcus Rhodes, Sean Rhodes, Ava Court and Zeik Gantz; and his great grandchildren, Everly Rhodes, Casey Amburgey and Arlo Amburgey. He is also survived by his family, friends.
