She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Francis and Elsie Amelia Goldsmith Sr. (Schudel); her children, Steve West and Kim Kuehnl; her siblings, Anthony F. Goldsmith Jr., Eve Durbin, Virginia Torrance and Loraine Linzy; and her brother-in-law Albert West.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Cottrill of Lordstown; her grandchildren, Lucy West, Mia West and Adam Kuehnl; and her children-in-law, Jody West and Eric Kuehnl. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Planned Parenthood of Ohio in Joan's memory.
