He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry M. Hudson and Eva C. Hudson (Turner); his sons, Stephen and Richard; his granddaughter Emily Hudson; and his great grandchild Eliza Moore.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Nancy Winkler Hudson (Jerrit Ekama); his grandchildren, Deborah Bagocius (Christian Fjeld), Benjamin Bagocius, Scott Bagocius, Diana Dunn (Curt), Kate Hudson and Rachel Wrobel (Adam); his great grandchildren, Ronin, Xavier, Ellery, Jasper, Henry, Robert, Oscar and Morgan; his grandchildren, Amy Saputo, Brett Davis (Kerry) and Ashley Minor (Steve); his great grandchildren, Makayla, Emma, Kaiden and Preston; and also, Lucinda Bagocius (Paul), Holly Hudson (Barb Manikas), Tom Lyntz (Anita), Theresa Davis (Len), Alan Lyntz (Jan) and Linda Oldacres.
