He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. "Jumbo" Foster and Pearl Mae Foster (Garvin); his wife Rosemary Jordan Foster; and his siblings, Luther Foster, Thomas Foster, Doc Foster, James Foster Sr., Jackie Foster, Pete Scott, Charlene Ramer and Hazel Cox.
He is survived by: his daughters, Darla Leedy of Niles and Joyce Miller of Niles; his siblings, Edith Skillman (Jim) of Lordstown and John Foster (Arlene) of Tennessee; his grandsons, Charles Miller (Kristina) of Niles, Christopher Leedy (Emily) of Long Valley and Joe Miller (Amanda) of Mineral Ridge; and his great grandchildren, Grant, Cameron, Remi and Griffin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
