He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Knowles and Margarite Cirolla Knowles; his sister Norma Fenwick; and his nephews, James Fenwick, David Wilson and Charles Purbaugh.
He is survived by: his son Floyd Knowles; and his siblings, Theresa Purbaugh of Lexington, KY, Jacquelyn McVicker (Brian) of Vienna, OH, Joyce Curry (David) of Masury, OH and Victor W. Knowles of Niles.
