He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard R. Brant and Mary Ellen Brant (Saylor); his brother Paul W. Brant (Judy); his siblings-in-law, Patricia Brant and J. C. Weimer; and his nephew Michael Spangler.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Foust; his siblings, Charles "Chuck" Brant of Somerset, Shirley Weimer of Somerset and Gerald Brant (Kathy) of Somerset; and his sister-in-law Margie Spangler (Roger) of Florida.
