She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. J. Manning Potts Sr. and Agnes Wright Potts; and her brothers, Rev. Reginald H. Potts III and Joseph Christian Potts. She is survived by: her children, George A. Beck Jr. (Gloria), Catherine Hildack (Michael) and Susan Vardavas (William); her brother J. Manning Potts (Joy); her grandchildren, George A. Beck III, Eileen Beck, Cadee Pelyak (Michael), Christie Rapczak (Derick), Callie Vardavas and Christopher Vardavas; and her great grandchildren, James Pelyak and Emma Rapczak. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
