With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard R. Schulz of Ney, Ohio, born in Convoy, Ohio, who passed away on September 1, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Richard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Richard is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter W. Schulz and Mina Schulz (Mang); his wife Leola M. Gruber; and his brother Walter J. Schulz. He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Boyer (Michael) of Ney, Kathleen Rambo (Robert) of Defiance and Tammi Custar (Glen Holstine) of Carlisle, Kentucky. He is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions be made to Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center, Defiance, Ohio.
