It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene Scantlen of Ney, Ohio, born in Bryan, Ohio, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alan Kemm and Hazel Marie Kemm (Wagner); her husband Robert L. Scantlen; and her siblings, Perceda Wolf, Donelda Wolf, Larry Wolf and Herb Wolf.
She is survived by: her children, David Hoffman of Ney, Diane Pickering of Ney, Barb Bonar of Ney, Mary Ann Hoffman of Ney, Steve Hoffman of Sherwood, Ohio and Basil Steffes (Candy) of Sherwood, Ohio. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
