He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mills and Ezzie Mills (Shepard); his wife Bonnie Adams; his son Joe Mills; his granddaughter Laurie Mills; his great grandchild Cody Martin; his son-in-law Vaughn Gordon; and his siblings, Harvey Mills, Denver Mills, Howard Mills, Polly Stockdale and Wilma Saunders.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Gordon of Bryan and Cathy Sanders (Greg) of Willoughby, Ohio; his grandchildren, Aubrey Baden (Shawn) of Brookville, Jenny Meyer (Matt) of Montpelier and Angela Moritz Seattle; his great grandchildren, Caitlyn McCandless, Camryn McCandless, Braeden Meyer, Jax Baden, Aiden Moritz, Ava Moritz, Alaric Moritz, Atlas Moritz and Jessica Martin; and his brother Paul Mills (Shirley Vance).
