He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joseph Mendez (Andrea) and Johnie Clark, Sr.. He is survived by: his parents, David Mendez (Connie) of Ney and Pamela Barrera (Juan) of Bryan; his siblings, Dave Mendez of Bryan, Quinlan Mendez (Britt) of Bryan, Benjamin Mendez (Becca) of Antwerp, Michael Kelly of Ney, Joshua Barrera of Bryan, Johny Stantz (Teresa) of Bryan, Kara Densmore (Brice) of Huntertown, IN, Janie Kelly of Ney and Ruby Cook of Hicksville; his children, Gabriel Mendez of Bryan, Dru Mendez of Springfield, OH and Kayliegh Mendez-Snyder of Port Clinton; and his close friend Rachel Kerr. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
