He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Bergman and Ruth Bergman (Hilton). He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Bergman (Kretzer); and his children, Lynn (Kathy), Jerry Marvin (Darlene) and Barbara Vance (Tom). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Ney United Methodist Church or Defiance Area Foundation Fairview School Fund.
