He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Strong and Rosa Strong; his granddaughter Amanda Keeton; his friend Margaret Campbell; and his brother-in-law Fred Tussey.
He is survived by: his daughter Holly Benjamin; his grandchildren, Rob Benjamin and Hailey Benjamin; and his siblings, Shirley Tussey, Bonnie Butler (Robert), Gene Strong (Helen) and Josie Burdette (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
