With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Henry Grondeski (Newton Falls, Ohio), born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 22, 2025 at the age of 105. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignatz Grondeski and Mary Grondeski; his former wife Margaret; his wife Annie; his daughters, Bonita Ditchy and Maryanna Williams; and his siblings, Edward, Stanley, Cecilia, Emily and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his sister Lucille Young. He is also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary and St. Joseph's Church (131 W Quarry St, Newton Falls, OH 44444). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, tributes may be sent to St. Joseph Church, Newton Falls.
