She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur C. Tomlinson and Anna M. Tomlinson (Barr); her husband Wendell G. Sechler; and her siblings, Rebecca Smith and Wilbur Tomlinson Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Madelyn Ficken (Henry "Buddy") of Columbus, Keith Sechler (Linda) of Cleveland, Michele Eastlake (Daniel) of Columbus, Kimberly Coughlin of Lewis Center, Noralee Seymour (Rudy) of Willow Springs, NC and Patsy Kaschalk (James) of Lewis Center; and her brother Rev. William Tomlinson of Indianola. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
The family has requested that donations be made to the First Christian Church, 17 North Center St., Newton Falls, OH 44444 in Virginia's memory.
