Ruth Louise Duss Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Louise Duss (Newton Falls, Ohio), who passed away on May 5, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bigler Miller Singer and Emma Frances Helwig Singer; her son Thomas Dale Ward; and her siblings, Mary Emma Bodzenta, David, Richard, Eugene, Thomas, Norman, James and Frank.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Avant of Young Harris, GA and Sheryl Stranahan of Valdosta, GA; her granddaughter Michele Motz Allison (Harry); her great grandchildren, Vera Ruth Allison and Darla Pearl Allison of Johns Creek, GA; her siblings, Ann Luketic of Newton Falls, OH and Phillip Singer (Sue) of Port Clinton, OH; and her sister-in-law Cinda Singer of LaVerne, CA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests donations be made to the Salvation Army Children's Santa Stocking Project, Sigma Phi Gamma Xi Theta Chapter service projects, or local food bank.
