It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Kerlin of Newton Falls, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on July 25, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Kerlin and Phyllis I. Kerlin (Mundy). He is survived by: his children, Wendy (Sam Marhulik), Kelley Kerlin (Mat Bielski) of Austintown, OH and Gregory (Billie Kerlin); his sister Joyce (Don Thorpe); his grandchildren, Taylor, Tara, Tyler, Torrie, Tiffany, Jacob and Cameron; and his great grandchildren, Elliana and Dawson.
Rick was best known for his role as Santa Claus (AKA Santa Rick) and donating his time in the community for 25 years.
