He is survived by: his children, Bryana Christy (Charlie) of Eureka, Missouri, Richard Christy III (Leah) of St. Louis, Joshua Stambaugh (Jessica) of Canfield and Aaron Christy (Melissa) of St. Louis, Missouri; and his siblings, Janette McGinnis of Newton Falls, Teresa Nadasky (David) of Austintown, Ohio and Albert Christy (Kristina) of Canton. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
