It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Alan Powell of Newton Falls, Ohio, born in Warren, Ohio, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Lee Powell and Helen Mary Jane Powell (Seger); his former wife Lorna E. Vogel; his siblings, Patricia Yencer, Nancy Powell, Lee, Nelson, Roger, Donald and David Powell; and his granddaughter Katrina Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice J. Powell of Newton Falls; his children, Dianna (Steve Simpson), Lucinda (Joe Frendak), John M. Powell of Newton Falls and Richard (Laura Powell); his stepchildren, Kristine Nerlich of Medina, OH, David, Mary-Ellen Lemasters of Cortland, OH and Brian Lemasters; and his sister Jeannie Powell-Wright of Tustin, CA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
