He is survived by: his wife Violet June Haney of Newton Falls; his children, Michael Gillespie (Darcy) of Newton Falls, Beth Medallis (Mark) of Newton Falls and Tammy Blandine (Philip) of Newton Falls; his sisters, Irma Shields (Tony) of Chicago and Norma Shannon (late Norman) of Lake Lure, NC.; his grandchildren, Ryan Gillespie (Billie) of Cortland, Matthew Gillespie (Krista) of Williamsburg, VA., Eric Medallis of Arizona, Todd Medallis of Newton Falls, Taylor and Tori Blandine of Newton Falls; and his great grandchildren, Rylie, Landon Gillespie (Ryan), Jayden and Peyton Gillespie (Matthew).
