She was predeceased by: her parents, George B. Hickenbottom and Charlotte Tomer Hickenbottom; her husband John C. Ayres; her grandson K. J. Ayres; her great grandchild Ariella Rose; her brothers, Herman Hickenbottom, Ronald Hickenbottom and Richard Hickenbottom; and her sisters-in-law, Janet May Hickenbottom and Melody Hickenbottom.
She is survived by: her children, John L. Ayres (Tracey Dean), Paul A. Ayres (Kelley), Christopher L. Ayres (Andrea Carr), Korriena M. Weir (Joseph), Rodney "Brad" Ayres (Corey McCoy) and Nadine S. Weir (Michael); and her siblings, Beverly Shartzer, Georgina Parrish (John), Wayne Hickenbottom, David Hickenbottom (Theresa), Bo Hickenbottom (Patti) and John B. Hickenbottom (Kay). She is also survived by 31 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
