She was predeceased by: her husband James Burns; her parents, Joann Eberle and Karl Eberle; her stepmother Elizabeth Eberle; and her sister Suzanne Eberle.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Burns (Toni), Ted Burns, Sean Burns (Lori) and Ann Oliver (Richard); her grandchildren, Matthew Burns, Brooke Smith (Andrew), Katherine Burns, Sean Burns, Christopher Burns, Kevin Oliver (Victoria) and Claire Oliver; her great grandchild Raelynn Burns; and her siblings, Rosa Eberle, George Eberle and Karl Eberle Jr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family requests that material contributions take the form of donations in Joann's name to a charity of the donor's choice.
