He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Royse and Ada Royse (Clark); his wife Mary Aileen Royse (Conn); and his siblings, Benny Royse (Maxine), Billy Royse, Clayton Lee Royse, Chester, Lester Royse, Pug Stephens (Terry) and Wilna Crisp (Willie).
He is survived by: his children, Debra Holloway (Richard) of Newton Falls and James L. Royse (Kitty) of Niles; his grandchildren, Kristie Gregory (Glen), Regan Shanower (Dean), Rickie Perkins (John), Ashley Bentfield (Phil), Jeff Pecoraro and Jimmy Newsom; his great grandchildren, Presley, Brayden, Landen, Aaron, Fiona, Lilly and Caleb; his siblings, Daniel Royse (Mabel) of Winchester, Paul D. Royse of Houston, Texas and Dokie Barker of New Castle, Indiana; and his pet Boots. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 737 Lake Milton Honor Guard.
