He is survived by: his parents, Mark J. Spletzer and Tesa A. Spletzer (Wujick) of Newton Falls; his children, Luke Matthew and Kiley Jo; his wife Emily L. Gaston; his siblings, Haley Spletzer of California and Nathan Spletzer of Florida; and his grandmother Becky Shultz of Newton Falls. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks monetary donations be made to Jake's wife Emily to set aside for their children's future.
