He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Wamer (Lanterman); his son Gene Wamer Jr.; and his siblings, Maedell Hill, Betty Dolin and Robert Wamer Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Anderson (Roarke) of Youngstown, Randall Wamer (Deedra) of Newton Falls and Quentin Wamer (Debra) of Byesville; and his brothers, Charles Wamer (Betty) of Streetsboro and Jesse Wamer (Mandy) of Salem. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
