It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Brooks of Newton Falls, Ohio, born in Soperton, Georgia, who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Curtis and Pauline Day Curtis Eason; her stepfather Lize Eason; her son Hillard Little; and her sister Eddie Mae Ashley.
She is survived by: her husband Henry Brooks; her daughter Shirley B. Cruse of Newton Falls; her sisters, Eloise Lewis of Dry Branch, GA and Nancy Anthony of Warren; and her grandchildren, Nicole Cruse, Bobby Cruse Jr., Catherine Little, Hillary Little and Lynette Little. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 21, 2023 at 1:00 p. m., at the Braceville First Baptist Church, with Calling Hours from 12:00-1:00 p. m. Masks are suggested.
