He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Hoelscher and Henrietta Hoelscher (Hilgefort); his wife Lucy Drees; his daughter Paula; and his siblings-in-law, Albert, Lucille Hoelscher, Jerome, Pat Hoelscher, Arnold and Dorothy Hoelscher.
He is survived by: his children, Matt (Kathy Hoelscher), Ann (Doug Grosheim), Lori (Dan Lawrence), Amy (Russ Potter), Tom and Rene Hoelscher (Suchland); his grandchildren, Alyssa and Nick Canavan; his great grandchild Liam; his grandchildren, Seth, Taylor Hoelscher, Wesley Hoelscher, Carrie Frysinger, Chris Coulibaly, Kacie Clover, Nicholas Mayo, Tana, Caleb Hemmelgarn, Cori, John Fischer, Austin Huddleston, Haylee Floyd and Austyn Potter; his great grandchildren, Mattix, Joshua Potter, Bethany Potter, Andrew Potter, Cailtyn Crow, Lucy, Lana and Luke Hoelscher; his siblings, Juliana Phlipot, Cyril, Marilyn Hoelscher and Doris Hoehne; and his parents-in-law, Mary Pepiot, Earlene Drees, Becky Fatone, Judy Hoelscher, Frank Hoehne and Sidney.
