It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Gene Fry (Newport, Ohio), born in Newport, Kentucky, who passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Fry and Mamie Schafer Fry; and his siblings, Hudson Deaton, Debbie Simpson, Linda Akins, Betty Witt and Evelyn Hendricks.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Marie Jones; his stepchildren, Neal Farmer (Tamara), Pam Danielson, Peggy Spencer (Hank) and Cindy Rabe (Tom); his children, Barbara Hart (Chet) and Bob Fry (Leslie); his grandchildren, Brandon Rabe, Lauren Boudreau (Peter) and Sophie Fry; his great grandchildren, Beckham and Kiptyn Boudreau; and his siblings, Mickey Williams (Jerry), Gary Deaton and Carol Cox.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Kentucky Humane Society in honor of Bobby's favorite companion for 17 years; a Jack Russell Terrier named Kelly.
