He was predeceased by: his mother S. Carol Silverthorne (Patterson). He is survived by: his father Rev. Donald Silverthorne (Carolyn McDorman); his sons, Mark and Jason Silverthorne of Jefferson, PA; and his siblings, Chip Silverthorne of Akron, Harley Laux of Newcomerstown, Jennifer Christner of Newcomerstown and Jane Turnmire of Frankfort. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
