It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Mathias of Newcomerstown, Ohio, who passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Mathias to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, W. A. Mathias and Ruth E. Mathias (Peters); his wife Betty Mathias (Rexroad); and his children, David Alan and Elaine Sue.
He is survived by: his son Michael Mathias (Teresa) of North Canton; his grandchildren, James Moyer, Jessica Montgomery (Michael), Thomas Tatro II (Amanda) and Heath Tatro (Sylvina); and his sister Barbara Steinbauer of Massillon. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
