He was predeceased by: his parents, Gretchen Gean Gross Marlatt and Harold Loverne Marlatt; and his grandparents, James, Amanda Miller Marlatt, Harley and Mabel Fenton Gross.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Batsel Marlatt; his children, Mark Marlatt (Denise Bartlett), Catherine Marlatt, Mary Ridgway (Mark), Matt Marlatt (Valerie), Rebecca Seevers (Jan) and Benjamin Marlatt (Jamie); his grandchildren, Bryce Marlatt (Malia), Malia Schwinn (Bryan), Tristen Amundsen, Joshua Carpenter, Blade Mitchell, Gunner Mitchell, Mady Marlatt, Macy Marlatt, Macsen Marlatt, Molly Seevers, Adalynn Seevers Jayna Marlatt, Jennesee Marlatt and Jettie Marlatt; and his great grandchildren, Broden Schwinn, Bennett Schwinn and Amelia Schwinn.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Christ Methodist Church (648 Oak St, Newcomerstown, OH 43832). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Methodist Church of Newcomerstown caring and sharing fund.
