He is survived by: his wife Ruth V. Vance; his daughters, Dawn Wheeler (Brian) of Florida and Christina "Crissy" Tucker (Jim) of Florida; his grandchildren, Kayla Lee Wheeler and John Wayne Wheeler; and his siblings, Charles "Mack" Williams (Tureko), Russell Williams (Barb), Beulah King (Craig) and David "Pete" Williams (Windy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
