He is survived by: his wife Ellen Lee McDonnell (Greathouse); his children, Janet Lee McDonnell, Beth Ellen Hamersley (David) and James Richard McDonnell of Newcomerstown; and his grandchildren, Jamie Lee Leidner, James Austin Trzop, Kayla Marie Moyer, Deanna Michelle Hamersley, Lauren Danielle Mitchell, Kassi Lee Lafferty, James Conner McDonnell and Kiersten Danielle Young. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
