He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Balser and Hattie Balser (Young); his siblings, Emma Balser, Lou Vernia Citraro (Balser) and Donald Balser; and his grandson Conor Rains.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Balser (Carpenter) of Newbury; his children, Daniel Balser (Marsha) of Pataskala, Teresa Balser of Hilliard and Karen Rains (Jeffrey) of Hilliard, Ohio; his grandchildren, Coltin Balser of Columbus, Jessica Rupel (Noel) of Burley and Elizabeth Rains of Loveland, Ohio.; and his siblings, Glowel Gene Balser of Woodbine, James Balser (Shirley) of Massillon, Harold Balser of Norton, Norva Warner (Mark) of Parsons and Bernard Balser (Karen) of Belle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
