Virgil Roscoe Clark Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virgil Roscoe Clark Sr. of Newark, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Clark and Gae Clark (Deem); his wife Rosie B. Clark (Hoyt); his children, Robert M. Hupp, Jr. and Donna McClain; and his siblings, Evelyn Deem, Marion, Harold, Gale, Russell, Cody, Richard and Raymond Clark.
He is survived by: his children, Virgil R. "Chip" Clark, Jr., Chuck Hupp (Brenda), Ruby Bush (David) and Diane Johnson (Glenn); and his sister Mary Haught. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service (179 Granville St, Newark, OH 43055). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Road NE, Newark, OH 43055.
