She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Hoyt and Eva Hoyt (Grumm); and her brothers, Robert Hoyt (Retha) and Paul Hoyt (Dorthy). She is survived by: her husband William L. Simms, Sr.; her children, William Simms, Jr. (Teresita) and Michele "Shelley"; her grandchildren, William Simms III (Darci), Michael "Cody" Ballinger (Caitlin), Shannon Simms (Alex) and Meaghan Lagace (Michael); her pet Ziggy; and her caregivers, Alan and Maria. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
